Glass fiber insulation mat(needle-punched felt) is a non-woven fabric product made from glass fiber. The fiber is cut into short lengths of two to three inches per strand, and the combed glass fiber is needle-punched, causing the fibers to intertwine with each other. Glass fiber needle-punched mat has the characteristics of low thermal conductivity, good sound absorption, long fibers, high tensile strength, non-toxicity, and odorlessness. Saolong's glass fiber needle-punched mat is developed and produced as a dedicated substrate for aerogel mat.

Good thermal insulation performance: The fiber structure is reasonable, leaving a large void ratio between the fibers, which can provide excellent insulation effects.
Good sound insulation performance: The fiber layers are interlaced and have a three-dimensional microstructure with high porosity. When sound waves enter the glass fiber cotton, their energy will be absorbed due to friction with the fibers and different-sized air voids. Generally, the sound absorption rate is above 90%.

Non-toxic and harmful substances: Glass fiber mat is a non-toxic and harmless inorganic material. Compared to traditional glass wool and asbestos products, it does not contain any binders and does not produce any toxic gases after combustion.
